It’s been almost 40 years since our parent company, Buona Beef, opened its first restaurant serving our family’s authentic Italian Beef & Sausage. It wasn’t long before a neighbor asked us if we could make lasagna that could rival our Beef & Sausage. Grandma made the best lasagna – inside and outside of Naples – and with that one tray of pasta (and one very satisfied customer), we realized we had a lot more to offer Chicago.
From there we began to grow our menu, becoming Chicago’s most trusted corporate and social caterer. We realized there was a need for more than the typical Italian street food classics, and our passion for food and hospitality propelled us beyond the traditional Buona menu and start a new identity.
Beyond Catering & Events was born. We’re proud to have the finest chefs Chicago has to offer. With their help, we’ve developed menus that honor cuisine from all over the world, made with the freshest, organic ingredients, and presented to you as a work of art – that you can eat.
We have grown into one of Chicago’s largest full-service catering companies, accommodating weddings, galas, corporate events, and more. Our service, hospitality, and attention to detail are second to none; it’s in our DNA.
For nearly four decades, we have catered some of the largest events in Chicagoland and even around the country. We provide each guest with an innovative culinary experience that will last a lifetime.
